The Pakistani Child rights advocate and Nobel Peace award recipient Malala Yousafzai has restated her call for return of abducted Chibok girls.Marking the 300th day that the girls have been kidnapped by Boko Haram insurgents, from the boarding domitories in their Chibok secondary school with no recent updates regarding their wherebouts she stated “As we mark this tragic 300th day of captivity for hundreds of kidnapped Nigerian schoolgirls, I call on people everywhere to join me in demanding urgent action to free these heroic girls,”

On the 14 of April last year 276 young ladies were abducted in the dead of night, and their school burnt to the ground by Boko Haram insurgent,a number of them about 57 later managed to escape and since then in spite of reported sightings there has been no new updates regarding their wherebouts. There are claims that they have either been split up and sent to different Boko Haram strongholds, some have surmised that they have been married off while many more retain a fervent hope that the girls will still be found and rescued.

We use the anniversary of their 300th day to appeal to the Government and relevant agencies to cast a fresh eye and re approach the rescue or negotiation of the Chobok Girl's release.
