INEC: Taraba Gubernatorial elections declared inconclusive
News just in from INEC has confirmed that the Taraba state Returning officer Professor Muhammadu Kyari has declared the Governorship elections inconclusive.According to the Returning officer making the announcement in Jalingo the Taraba state capital,he hinged his reason on the number of cancelled votes being above the gap between APC who are the runner up and PDP who came first.
In addittion elections in Donga local Government where PDP polled 37,069 votes to APC 10,087 was cancelled,with that of other Polling Units across the state including 6 polling units in Takum,5 in Karim including Yoro and Ussah Local Government areas.
In the aftermath of the announcement violence has enveloped the state with reports coming in that the house of the state Government SSG,has been burnt down including that of Abel Diah representing Mbamga state constituensy,2 people have been reportedly killed as well with a number of properties destroyed and burnt by supporters of both frontline aspirants.
