EFCC case against Muritala Nyako’s son stalls as Main witness dies suddenly

The EFCC corruption case instituted against the former Govenor of Adamawa state Muritala Nyako, and his first son Abdul Aziz appears to be heading for a stalemate due to the sudden collapse and eventual death of the main witness scheduled to testify against the duo.The late Mr Dan Tsoho who was a former Regional manager in Zenith bank North eastern region, confessed to have followed verbal instructions given by former Governor Muritala Nyako for a total of 15Billion Naira to be transfered to five companies owned and controlled by Abdulaziz namely Blue Opal Ltd | Crust Energy Nigeria Ltd | Blue Ribbon Multilinks Ltd |Tower Assets Management Ltd and Blue Ribbon Bureau de Change.The funds were reportedly transferred directly from Adamawa state bank accounts directly into the accounts listed.The late Mr Dan Tsoho who in a strange twist is also a former in law to former Governor Nyako,was under suspension having been indicted in other similar issues he was also battling with simultaneously.In addittion EFCC investigations during their investigations discovered several choice properties and investiments in the name of Mr Tsoho which includes major stakes in Azman Airline | Azman petroleum and real estate holdings in Abuja | he outrightly owned self named Dan Tsoho hotel in Jimeta Yola.He replaced the Governor of Borno state Kashim Shettima as the North east Regional Manager when the former resigned to delve into partisan Politics.
